Meow You Doin' Picture Frame

So excited that this project was featured in Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #19. Check out all the featured artists at Featured Fawnatics and Challenge 19 Random Winner!

I have a weakness for little grey cats! While my Isadora is not little any longer I still tend to gravitate to coloring all kittens grey. For the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #19 I wanted to use a stamp set I love but in a different way.

This frame was a fun way to use my stamps for something other than a card.

I chose to use Copic markers but you can use colored pencils or other markers. Just be aware that when you use Copics on a matte you need to be light with the coloring and stay away from the edges. Blending should be kept to a minimum. I found this out the hard way for the little kitty with the yarn ball. I had to go in with the colorless blender.

In the end I love the frame! It was quick and easy to create and would be fun to make as a gift.
